Book one tells
the story of a Neolithic man, Ogus the
flint-knapper,
and his wolf companion, Iacub.
The story begins in the natural landscape of what will become,
many thousands of years later,
the abbey town of Tewkesbury; in Gloucestershire, England.
Ogus, feeling the call of his ancestral roots,
embarks upon a great journey to the islands of Orkney;
and slowly becomes aware that he has actually died along the way.
The reader follows Ogus and his contemplations as he transitions from being a mortal human into being a sidhe - an immortal spirit - a 'Child of Light'.
His journey takes him across the River Severn into Wales and up to Anglesey;
then on past the Isle of Man into the Western Isles; and then to Orkney.
Then, via sidhe-flight, to many other places.
A truly epic adventure; encountering gods and goddesses, Celtic heroes,
and many sacred sites that can still be visited in the modern era.
The following map illustrates the journey of Ogus in book one.
Of the original twenty illustrations, four have been sold and sixteen are still available;
to help finance the production of books two, three, and four.
