THE CHRONICLES OF OGUS CAMPAIGN
Become a custodian of a fine art illustration
The Chronicles of Ogus
Are a series of books written by my father, Ian Leitch.
The first two books have been written already and my father is working on books three and four at the same time. I am still in the act of illustrating book one and editing its layout for publication. It will be a full colour hardback book. Seventeen illustrations for book one have been completed and they are for sale here on this page; there are three more to do (which will be added to this page as they manifest). The selling of these drawings are to help finance the creation of more drawings; and the publication of the book.
If you buy one of these original illustrations then you will be helping to produce these very magical books.
1 ~ As well as becoming the owner of an original piece of artwork I will write a letter of thanks to you (which will act as a unique personalised certificate of authenticity).
2 ~ You will be acknowledged in the book itself as a 'Custodian of an Illustration' that helped to finance the book's publication.
3 ~ You will also recieve a free, signed, first edition of the book.
Be one of twenty custodians. Be a part of something magical.
About the Chronicles of Ogus
I really do not want to say too much about the stories themselves other than my father's writing really is quite wonderful; but I do appreciate that a little needs to be said.
The Chronicles tell the story of an immortal life. They are about a Neolithic man called Ogus and his wolf, Iacub. Book one begins with Ogus leaving the mortal world of men and becoming a sidhe (an eternal spirit). Then his adventures really begin. Crossing back and forth between the mortal world and the Otherworld, as the centuries unfold. Celtic gods and goddesses, many sacred sites of the British Isles... I do not want to say much more.
The unfolding stories are like a magical, shamanic, vision-quest throughout British history and Celtic mythology.
Book One has twenty illustrations, one for each of the letters of the Ogham alphabet.
Book Two will have illustrations that correspond with the Saxon Runes.
Book Three, illustrations that correspond with medieval Latin.
Book Four, illustrations corresponding with the Enochian alphabet of Dr John Dee.
This is a huge project and that is enough said for now.
Each illustration is drawn upon A4 (21cm x 29cm) cartridge paper in graphite pencil.
Each drawing corresponds with one of the twenty trees of the Ogham alphabet.
These unique illustrations are £350 each.
I will mark each drawing as 'sold' as they sell.
